Earlier in the year I learned of a small sub division of Amazon called Amazon Warehouse Deals. This division exclusively handles the "used" and "open box" items within Amazon. I searched around for some products and found a few killer deals. I quickly found out this was a very lucrative, but time consuming process.
As artists and technologists, we're in our own world. We're a unique breed. We're creating, designing and dreaming. That's part of our DNA. It's what we do best. Interacting with other humans... not so much.
We all get stuck. "Creative block" is an infection that plagues us all. When I get stuck, I'll start looking around
the web. I'm searching for inspiration or ideas that will break me out of my slump.
With the recent popularity of prank sites such as www.shipyourenemiesglitter.com, I built a landing page
that offers users a weekly email list of prank and gag gifts.
The first week's challenge is done AND I'm a couple of days early! I built a share button for the fine folks in the design community over at Designer News.
I've been wanting to learn the Google Maps API for a while, so I decided to bake up a little project to help me learn.
I also recently ran across some useful government APIs, and the USDA seemed to be a perfect fit for this.
